Our U17 boys team has participated in the prestigious Cornacchia World Cup held in Italy every year. The journey proved to be a significant milestone for our boys' team, marking their first participation in this esteemed junior competition.
Throughout the tournament, our squad showcased their skills on the international stage pitting their abilities against some of the top team in the stage of volleyball in the world who participate in the Cornacchia World Cup such as Italy, US and Japan.
From facing national teams from various countries competing against formidable opponents of which the senior teams play at a professional level in some of the biggest volleyball stages in the world, such as Italy's Serie A.
Teams like Modena Volley, Invicta Grosseto, Kioene Padova and Kosmos Volley provided tough competition for our squad.
Beyond the realm of athletics, the experience proved invaluable for our juniors, offering not only unparalleled opportunities for growth on the field but also valuable memories by meeting other athletes from around the world and sharing experiences with them.
Each game served as a learning curve, equipping them with invaluable lessons in teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship.
Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate the future editions of the Cornacchia World Cup.
With plans to expand our participation to include our girls' team, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of talent and fostering a culture of inclusivity within our club.
